3eedkom mbaarak everyone~! How did you all spend your eid holidays? Mine was fair enough. I prepared enormously for this particular eid because I wanted a whole new look to go with my new brace-less smile. From haircuts, coloring, highlighting, colored lenses and henna to pretty flowy dresses, sparkley jewels, new loubies and even a Chanel bag LOL 9dg knt shadaah 7aile halsinnah. Unfortunately with all these preparations I had horrible cramps right on the first day! They were so bad that I was not able to go to most of the family gatherings. So much for my new look!! x(

makeup frenzy on the first day of eid!

Thankfully, my preparations also included my leave *evil grin* I took a long break starting from the last week of Ramadan way until next Sunday. So I am off for today and tomorrow! Its ridiculous that we didnt get to have both of these days off as an official national holiday.. meh! I’m going to spend my weekend in Dubai starting tomorrow, and this time I’m determined to:

a) Have a macaroon. I feel like I’m the only person on earth who hadn’t ever tasted a macaroon. Ok, not exactly ever. I tried one when I went to Dubai on course once. It was a pink macaroon that came in a small complementary box along with dates and chocolates.. and it was STALE!!! It was so hard I was afraid my braces would break. I thought there must be something wrong! This definitely isnt what the whole world is crazy about! So I’m willing to give macaroons another chance.

b) Order cupcakes. Yummm! I am most excited about having cupcakes delivered to the hotel <3 since I already tried Sprinklez, I might try Sweet Stuff this time =9~ I promise this list isnt all about food lol

c) Try on Loubies.. (and possibly get some?) haha the thing is, my loubies are too big for me even though I only got half a size up. My feet would slip out even with TWO inserts. Sad. So now I want to try a couple of different pairs so I can determine my size because italian sizing is very inconsistent.

d) Check out Jo Malone perfumes. I just adore vanilla-scented anything! and I’ve been told that Jo Malone carries perfumes with vanilla notes.. *hearts* must try!

e) … To metro or not to metro? Hmmm.. my sister is dying go on a ride. Still not sure on this one because my parents are afraid of catching the flu in crowded areas :S

always wanted to try this!

I’m a sucker for cute packaging ^_~

The Letter ‘H’

A personality game I found online says that, if your first name starts with an H..

1. You are not judgmental. True.. Im hardly critical or disapproving. I tend not to find faults in what I see and try to look at the better side of things instead, whether it was a person or a situation.

2. You are always smiling & making others smile. LOL! maybe not xP I dont consider myself to be a humorous person really. Although yes, I do love to smile :)

3. You like to work. I do! I like to keep myself busy. But at the same time I hate having a routine job. I get bored extremely fast and so I lose interest in what Im doing. So I always like to look for new things to do!

4. You have trouble trusting people. I would say this is partly true. I dont have trouble trusting people.. strangers in fact, and I know thats not exactly the right thing to do for most. Its like that movie I saw on TV once. A teacher who told her students at the very beginning of the year that everyone in class currently has an A, and it is up to each one of them to keep up that A throughout the year and not bring it down to B’s and C’s. When I meet someone, they can have my trust, and its up to them to NOT break it. I discovered that Im the kind of person who would give my full trust to someone.. but once it is broken it can never be given back again. I do forgive.. wholeheartedly.. but I cant forget. Dont get me wrong, Im never one to hold any grudges. But once a person does something to break my trust then its gonna be there forever and it would make me put limits on my relationship with them.
