Look who jumped on the BB bandwagon! I’ve wanted one for a while now and I finally got it, presenting my Blackberry Curve 8900:

YAYYY!! *jumps around in circles* :D It took me a long time at the store to make a decision between this and the Bold. In the end I chose the Curve because I liked its size more and I think it looks much sleeker. I got used to it pretty fast too! Its not as complicated as I thought it would be at all. Theres still alot that I need to figure out though.. Now all I need is a new PHONE! Im using my BB as a PDA but I still want my regular nokia for calls and stuff. It is working just fine but I’ve had it for years and Im starting to get sick of it. Any recommendations?
Today at work, while I was going through tons of folders and folders on my computer, I came across my CV. I immediately realized that it needed and update even though I wont be leaving the company any time soon. When I opened it, it finally struck me that I have been working for a YEAR and 5 months already! My anniversary with the company was last November. There are a lot of things that I learned about my working style during that time, here are a few things that seriously tick me off:
1. Pointless Meetings UGH! we are notorious for having the longest, most boring and pointless meetings EVER! A meeting is supposed to be straightforward, to the point, and SHORT because people have other things to do for the rest of the frikkin day. Some things can just be said over the phone or in an email, you dont have to call for a meeting for every single damn thing.
2. Spur-of-the-moment Projects they are those little projects that your supervisor comes up with and thinks they’re the best ideas in the world since sliced bread.. for like 10 seconds. And then you work and work and work on them only to see everything “fall to the grass” as they say. There is no follow-up and in a while it is completely forgotten. Such a waste of time!
3. “Be Creative” no, thank you. I will not have anyone throw their work at me and make it all look good by telling me to be creative. Also, I will not be creative only to have someone else ask me to edit and re-edit a million times until it looks just like how they would have done it. This is the most important thing I’ve learned about myself. I only like to work on something when there are clear guidelines and when I am told exactly what is expected. Only then will I be creative.
4. Presentations I still hate presentations. Always have always will! I am honestly willing to do any kind of work just NOT presentations.
5. Girls are b*tches. THERE! I said it. Actually I learned that way before work.. I learned that way back at university.. LoL! Girls are jealous, envious, and pure evil.
I think I shared a little more than necessary lol.. Anywaaays moving to a different subject. I did have a chance to pass by Reem’s Closet when I went to Dubai for my last dentist appointment. The store is so much more tinier than it appeared on TV but it did carry a lot of nice stuff! I saw so many things that were in great condition. There was a Fendi Spy, Dior Girly Boston, Chloe Bracelet Bag, etc… I didnt get anything but I put my name down for an interview with the manager incase I decide to consign anything later =]
My friend and I went to see He’s Just Not That Into You at the movies a while ago and I lovvved it. I love Jennifer Aniston’s style.. she always looks so casual and comfy. Im so into the whole t-shirt + open cardigan look with skinny jeans. I think I got about a million cardis recently xD these are gonna look FAB for the summer!

my favorite handcreams! the vanilla is so delicious and in the pot it looks exactly like whipped cream mmmm =9 I have one in my room, in the office and one tiny tube in my handbag <3

the current moisturizer Im using.. Im a gel cream convert! I am always gonna choose gel creams from now on. They are much lighter and they get absorbed into the skin very fast without feeling sticky.

my cute Balenciaga coin purse to hold my iPod, headphones, bag hanger, mints, USB and mirror.
Our graduation ceremony was supposed to be today. I am a ZU graduate from the class of 2006/2007 and we never had a ceremony until now. It was supposed to be a year ago! It was scheduled to be held last May but was suddenly postponned for no reason. We had already recieved our gowns (with ugly orange sashes for IT students! ew!) and invitation cards. We even had a rehearsal. But out of nowhere we were told that it is postponned for an unknown date. That date turned out to be almost a YEAR LATER.. which is today, the 1st of April ’09. We got calls and emails and everything was confirmed. Until everything got cancelled again! But this time, the reason is because the ceremony will only be for “honors” graduates and masters students. The others? nothing.
The reason why its all disgusting to me is because my GPA is only short of 0.1 to be considered on the honors graduates list. It is not fair to all the rest of us. And its like saying that all the other girls did not work hard enough.. as if we dont deserve a ceremony. But then again, this is just so typical ZU!
Oh well.. I dont need a ceremony to feel appreciated. So ZU, you can shove it @!$&! haha!
Im just really disappointed that I made this beautiful white dress for the ceremony and now it sits lonely in the closet. *sigh* I guess I’ll just wait for some other occasion to wear it.

a peak at my pretty dress..

Hello Kitty Lash.. the only thing I got from the MAC Hello Kitty collection..
I needed to get that rant off my chest. More updates later! <3
