How are you all keeping warm in such a weather? Im in desperate need of advice before I freeze myself to death! I dont think my puppy is liking the weather any more than I am either.. he’s sneezing too lol

I wear tons of layers in the morning before going to work because I reeeally dread the few seconds it takes me from the door to my car.. I cant even feel my fingers on the steering wheel by the time I reach work! Yes, Im THAT cold :shudders: .. Right now Im wrapping myself in a huge red blanket-like coat thing with a hoodie my grandmother got me from Canada and alternating typing and holding my tea mug to keep my hands warm >_< they're calling me Little Red Riding Hood at home because I refuse to take off this coat haha ..

So anywaaays, it was my birthday last saturday! We had planned a weekend trip to Fujairah and I took thursday off from work cuz we had to leave in the morning. The road trip was so tiring.. it took us almost four hours to reach there. We stayed at Miramar Beach Resort at Al Aqah, btw. By the time we arrived I was hungry and BEAT! I ordered room service lunch and dozed off until the night. Actually, I never really left my room on our first day there lol.. the place was gorgeous though! I never saw a place with both a beach and mountains together..

Back to my birthday ;D my family surprised me with cake and pressies in the sitting area near the lobby.. and to our luck, it was raining that day and so the evening band played music inside :) yes, it was nice. Cake, presents, music.. and a russian bellydancer! oh yes. Very nice! hahaha

PS. Everyone should go watch the Changeling at the movies before its gone. It is amazing! although I warn you, it is somewhat disturbing. Angelina was outstanding. I loved the movie very much even though I feel sick everytime I realize its a true story. But still.. go watch it!
