… You guys guessed the surprise right! everyone meet ms. lexie (or as Shoosh suggested PeteLe as in petite lexus hehe)

Shes my brand new ride! :D I figured it was about time for me to get my own car. For the past 8 or 9 months I have been driving my mom’s older benz just to get myself to work and back. I initially thought I could get away with using it for a while but I realized it is way beyond a useless piece of metal, basically garamba3 lol. It leaks like every single day and it is very heavy and hard to drive. Of course having zero knowledge whatsoever about cars I had no idea what to get as my first car! Fortunately my colleague at work was in a similar situation and she suggested the Lexus IS300 :) everyone supported the choice and we both decided to go for it! She got hers in silver and I got mine in smokey gray <3 <3

I never really thought that I’d get a Lexus. Kinda always wanted an Audi, but Im better off keeping that one for later as Im still a newbie >_< I just lovvve how tiny this car is! Its so me.
Anyways, my vacation is over and I went back to work. Cant say Im not happy about that though cuz I was so bored sitting at home doing nothing and I miss all my colleagues! I was thinking of cutting my leave and going back to work earlier but I decided not to because I wanted to take the opportunity of sitting at home to fast the days I had left from last Ramadan. And I did and thankfully Im done! *phew*
I really need to update the items on my wishlist! I've had that Bubblegum Pink GGH Balenciaga City bag on there for a while now and lemme tell you it aint gonna happen. Thats because I got SCAMMED on eBay!! Yes, I was scammed by an awful seller who stole my money and never sent me the bag. Its a very long story. You see, when I decided to buy that bag the color was sold out EVERYWHERE – Balenciaga ET, Harvey Nichols and even Ounass. So my only hope was to look for it online which is a good idea since it is a few thousand dirhams less when you buy it in US retail. Anyways, I went on eBay and started looking for it and there it was! at a great price and by a great seller (or so I thought!!). She had 100% positive feedback, so what could go wrong? It was not my first time buying something off of eBay but it certainly was the first time I get something online for more than $200. Anyways, I used the Buy-It-Now option and was so excited. The seller said she could not provide tracking.. first red flag! but I thought thats okay. A month passed by, nothing arrived. Then 2 months, then 3! My communication with the seller went from little to nothing. At the beginning, she would reply to my emails instantly because we were discussing payment methods and stuff. But everytime I would email her about where the bag is and why it hasnt arrived yet, she’d stall me and give excuses. Of course her replies would take daaaaaays and I had to send her numerous reminders to get back to me. One day I was looking at her feedback page on eBay and I saw a negative point from someone who was in the same situation as me. They wrote “bag never recieved, seller stole my money!” – I was terrified! And then I remembered: one time before the first month of waiting was over, I saw a feedback point on her profile from someone who said “great bag, i love it, thanks!” and when I clicked on that auction page, to my surprise, it was the exact same bag that I had purchased! It had the same pictures and description and ofcourse that breaks eBay rules. Even if she had two of the same bag, she should provide different pictures of each. I remembered that when I emailed her about it, she said that the person who left the feedback did not pay after she won the bid. I actually believed her!! So at that moment when I saw the negative point I emailed that other buyer and asked her about it. She replied saying that she paid immediately and she recieved the bag a week later. To add to my shock, I saw that the seller has given that other buyer a positive point saying “great buyer” – okay WTF?? how can a person she claims to be a non-paying bidder become a great buyer?? And thats when I said screw it, b*tch stole my money!!! She sold the same frikkin bag twice without actually having it in her posession. I tried to raise a claim and file a dispute on eBay and Paypal (I used Paypal to pay) but they said that I passed my time limit as I can only take action within 60 days of the auction’s end. I had no hope but to contact my bank to do a visa chargeback. They were extremely helpful! They sent me a form and asked me to explain everything on a paper and sign it then fax it back so they can discuss the chargeback with Paypal. My ‘explanation’ paper was nine pages long!! LOL! with pictures, screenshots, forwards of the emails between me and the seller – everything! A few days later Paypal emailed me that they will allow me to open a dispute because they have been contacted by my bank. Heck yeah! Anyways, around a month passes by and then the case was closed on Paypal. So now what? I had no idea. I didnt recieve anything from them. I waited and waited until I finally just lost hope. My money was gone for good to that idiot seller – a good 5K!!! I was SO mad. But, just outta nowhere this week, I was checking on my online banking account and I saw that I have 5K credited to my visa. I was confused…? I went to check on the “Last 5 Transactions” page and there it was!! It said “$1,343 Chargeback Credit” *tadaaa* OMG!!! I was so relieved!!! and SOOO happy that all my effort paid off.. keep in mind that this issue started way back in MARCH and now its AUGUST! Totally worth the wait, isnt it? ^_^
Im just wishing I could see the reaction of that seller right now. Dear lying 7a8eera seller: IN YOUR FACE, LOSER! haha =x
But alls good. I now have two beautiful Balenciaga cities and mommy loves them very much LOL.. yes, my bags are my babies ;D
