Im Dubaiing like crazy! I’ve been to Dubai twice the last coupla days and Im going again next saturday. The first time was straight after Eid.. my mother and uncle had to attent the Cityscape event {some real estate exhibition} and I insisted that I go with them since I tend to get bored outta my mind at home with everyone else going to work and school. We stayed for two days at the mega gorgeous Fairmont hotel.. the company my mom works for got us a VIP suite so it pretty much rockeddd & i loved it back there. The first day we were there I nagged about going to the Festival City cuz I wanted to go to Sephora FOR AAAGESSS!! So we headed off and I was SO excited to see STILA! I heard so much about this brand & now we finally have it here. I got me some Too Faced and Stila eyeshadows, a tiiiny-but-cutest-thing-in-cosmetics-ever kabuki brush {in purple!} and this pretty little empty perfume container since Im such a small-bag girl and perfume never fits in my little bags I thought this would be just perfect for me. I filled it up with my current fav scent: Sweet Craving, by Victoria’s Secret. One word to describe this perfume = YUM! I love vanilla-based perfumes and this one is amazing. I cant tell you the load of compliments I get when I wear it. GET ITTT <3

So anyways, we had dinner at Chili’s later that night and went back to the hotel. The next morning I was feeling cranky and couldnt get up for breakfast so my mom and uncle went out without me. I decided to order myself a continental breakfast and omg! the pancakes were DELICIOUSSS! I’ve been craving pancakes for a while now and when I finally had some I was in heaven *tehee*

I got the fantastic four bath bomb set! cant wait to start using these!!!! it has Blackberry, Honey Bee, Sex Bomb and Think Pink :D

The second time was last weekend and this time I got to go with the entire clan {aka the family} =P AAAND Ima have to go next week too because I have a check-up appointment with my dentist for my braces =) A few days back I got a call from my job site and they asked me to come and pickup the papers for my medical check. So I went and was told that I need to go to NMC – where I basically WANTED TO GET SHOT & DIE! >_< I hated going there. Its waaay too crowded and I had small smelly crowded areas. EW! it took me HOURS to get done with the medical tests.. I had to do tons of them! seriously its not like I'd be working for the FBI or something =s I did a blood test, eye test, lung test, x-ray, etc etc the list goes on! Right now Im just waiting to get contacted back after my results come out =/ & the waiting continues.. darn! I wanna start working already!

PS Where exactly is the Krispy Kreme store? I never got to go when I was in Dubai cuz I dont know where it is =( help a donut junkie out please!

HAPPY EID!!! o kil 3am winto b5air =) I figured it’d be nice to put up a new layout for my website as a celebration. I was really happy/surprised with the number of comments I got on the previous entry, its nice to know Im not forgotten – what with all the extremely rare updating and all. But here I am again, a fresh new design and a bangin new start! :D hopefully this time I’d stick to updating more frequently.

Of course so much has happened in the last couple of months. I GRADUATED. I am now an owner of a graduate degree: Bachelors of Science in Information Systems and Technology Management. My final capstone project was a blast to work on and it got amazing love from everyone + was featured at the ZU Capstone Festival! It felt good. Its REALLY good to be done. I really miss uni tho.. or actually I miss having somewhere to go to in the morning! LoL I miss having a reason to wake up =P because ever since my last day at uni I’ve been doing nothing but staying up all night and sleeping all day. Ya3ne ba6aliyah haha =x

I had many adventures during my job hunt. My friends and I went together to submit our CVs and papers to several locations. I’ve done several interviews {which are nerve-wrecking!} and a number of tests in english and maths that were part of the employment procedures at certain companies. I even took a psychometric [sp?] test! I wish I was allowed to see the results.. unfortunately they were sent directly to the company without me knowing anything on how it turned out >_<

But theres no reason to fret because eventually I GOT A JOB!!! *squeeeeeels* haha.. I didnt start working yet tho as Im still waiting for them to contact me to set a date for signing the official contract. Im so happy! I already got my bank account set up and created a savings account too =P I have a coupla things on my mind for when I get my first pay check lol *e7mm* first, I’ll sign up with Aramex’s Shop&Ship program so I can do some serious online shopping. Second, I’m getting me a puppy {mussstttt be a Pom a la Nicole Richie!!} Third, get an LV speedy size 25 in damier canvas. Ya know I could go on forever with that list!

Ok, nuff with work & school. Lets talk SUMMER HOLIDAYS! I went to Aussie Land :D for a little less that 3 weeks. The trip to Australia was beyond tiring. I actually cried when we finally arrived cuz I was so frikkin tired!!! It was a 14 hour flight. We stopped in Brunei for transit and it was disgusting! I can never understand how such a rich country can be so filthy with such a boring international airport. Anyways, we arrived at Brisbane and it was FREEZING COLD! anyone who knows me well knows I hate being cold. I wear jackets all the time at home when its summer. So the weather there was unbearable for me. And it took an hour by car to arrive to the hotel. There was no receptionists at the front desk because we arrived very late at night so we had to use the emergency telephone. Finally someone came out and let us in, only to tell us that our names are not registered in the hotel’s booking database. It was a good thing that some of our family members were already in Australia a few days before we arrived so they picked us up and took us to their appartment while we booked somewhere else. DAMN! it sucked so bad. But all in all, it was a nice stay. The Gold Coast is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen! the ocean view from our appartment was gorgeously breathtaking. And I LOVE LOVE LOVEDDD the Surfer’s Paradise. Its such a great place for hanging out you know shopping and having coffee. There were of course stacks of arabs from all over the globe LoL it almost felt like home!! haha..
